News Regarding Toontown Closing

Hey guys! As most of you have heard, Toontown Online closed on September 19, 2013. But, luckily, someone is at work creating "Toontown Rewritten". Toontown Rewritten will pretty much be like the old Toontown, but run by the creator of it and not Disney. I hope to continue this blog when Toontown Rewritten opens(guessed to be less than a year). So, that's that, and stay toony!

Flying (at estate) Glitch

Hey guys! Today I will be showing you a glitch that makes you "fly" (walk forward, go up, walk back, go down)

Ok, so this is how it works.

1. Go to your estate.

2. Go to one of the docks at the pond.

3. Hit the "X" in the fishing screen, then turn around.

4. Step by step, walk closer to the end of the dock.

5. When you're at the end of the dock, take your last step, but quickly press ESC (escape) to bring up your Shticker Book. 

6. When your Shticker Book is up (yes, that's how you spell it, haha)either hit "Back to Playground" or "Exit Toontown". As soon as you do that, quickly hit the forward key, and you should be all set! Hit ESC if you want down. Free roam as you want, but watch out! If you go too high, hitting ESC won't help, and you can't open your Shticker Book. You'll either have to teleport to a friend or exit out of Toontown and log back on.

Cog Nation (Updated)

Hey guys! I know I put an older Cog Nation post out, but this one is newer and updated, so here it is.

    COG NATION

 PROS

 - There is crates in Cashbot HQ that are labeled "COG NATION".    

 - In SpeedChat Plus, you can say "cognation" as one word.

 - In the Cashbot HQ mint, cogbucks have "COG NATION" printed on them.         

 - Toontown mentioned it in newsletters and in Toon HQ on the website occasionally.  

 - After the CEO is defeated, he says "The Chairman won't like this!".       

 -  In a Toontown January Newsletter, the developers said they are going to

release something even bigger than all the Cog HQs after they release BBHQ.             

- Some believe that the Chairman was Gyro Gearloose's robot featured in the original Toontown download video. The video showed a large grey robot that didn't look much like a cog. The wealthy Scrooge McDuck connected the wrong wires, and brought the robot to life, but it became evil and started creating more. It is possible that if Scrooge McDuck connected the red wire to the red wire or the blue wire to the blue wire, it wouldn't have become an evil cog. There is, or course, the fact that Disney removed this video, so there is a very real possibility that this robot may have not have anything to do with Toontown anymore.

- One of the Toon Troopers said "The Chairman scares me!".

- In Test Toontown, they released "Chinese Checkers" and "Find Four" but removed it due to crashes and bugs.

CONS

- It has been long since Disney has said anything about Cog Nation. 

- Cog Nation is a rumor, which means it may not really be true.

- Disney removed "Chinese Checkers" and "Find Four".

- It is noted that the pictures here were photoshopped for April Fools' Day.  

- An "Under Construction" sign is a usual sight in a golf course, so it may be used for decoration.

- Cog Nation may have been a rumor started by Disney to get people excited and join Toontown/keep paying membership.

- Cog Nation was most likely a true development, but after a few years Disney decided to quit on it.
