Hello world! I thought you might wanna see the book I wrote and am currently writing. So, here it goes!
THE RESCUERS
(This story takes place at the time when all of The Rescuers are Maxed, but until then, they train their current gags until they get maxed.)
RRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was the sound of an alarm going off at six in the morning. Toons Unite stood up. "Uggghhh. It is too early for this. Why couldn't they open Funny Farm at 1:00 PM?" Toons Unite said. It was the opening day for Funny Farm, a place in which toons everywhere had been waiting for. It was years since anything had happened in Toontown. The last big thing to happen was a new trolley game called Mickey's Mash- Up, and it was just a game where they put a cupcake under a cup, swapped them around, and you had to pick the right cup. It wasn't very fun. So the last few years, there was nothing fun about Toontown anymore. Nutty River was the only district that was occasionally ideal. All the other districts were empty. The crowd in Toontown Central in Toon Valley no longer existed. All the toons basically just sat, slept, and ate jellybeans all day. No one cared about cogs or even went to the cog HQs anymore.
Toons Unite got out of bed, stretched, and changed into his lure shirt, fedora, gag attack backpack, and blue boots. He was a light-blue cat, sixteen years old. He was not really tall, just average tall, not small. He got out his teleport hole, and teleported to Donald's Dock. There were a few people going in to Chip and Dale's Acorn Acres, because that was where Funny Farm was opening, in the
"Under Contruction" tunnel.
Toons Unite walked in the tunnel to Acorn Acres, and walked into the "Under Construction" tunnel. Toons Unite hoped that Funny Farm would be like... you know... a
Toon-up. Like something that would give Toontown a... you know... Laff Boost! Anyway, a boost for... Inspiration. Anyway, there was around one hundred toons, looking at the podium in which Flippy was standing behind. Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale, Pluto, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy were to the side of him. "Psst! Unite! Over here!" There was Christmas Cat, standing in the front of the crowd. Christmas Cat was one of Toons Unite's best friends. He was a red cat with light green arms, and was wearing his favorite outfit: A fedora, black mask, his yellow-buttoned shirt with a bike horn and whistle in the pockets, the St. Patrick's day green pants, and his brown sneakers. "Hey, where were you?" Christmas Cat said. "I just got up, and i'm tired." Toons Unite replied. " TIRED? I was up at 4:00 am! There hasn't been anything big in Toontown since the new trolley game years ago! I couldn't wait!" Christmas Cat said. " You are probably the only toon left in Toontown that has some pep in you." Said Toons Unite. " Let's just stop fighting and be grateful that Funny Farm is open. Look, there's Flippy now." said Christmas Cat.
"Ahem, hello toons! I am glad to announce, the grand opening of... Funny Farm! Yes toons, this will be quite an attraction. So, I certainly would not want to make you toons wait. So, here we are!" Flippy pulled out some golden scissors,and walked over to a big line of red ribbon. "And I proudly present... FUNNY FARM!!!" Flippy said excitedly as he cut the ribbon. There it was, Funny Farm! Toons everywhere started sprinting toward Funny Farm. It was a brand new inspiration! A feeling that might give toons a chance to imagine, dream, and believe that there was hope for new things, and that the old things might come back, and everything would be perfect, like it was, back when toons made it rain jellybeans for the sake of joy, happiness, and... jellybeans! " UNITE! What are you waiting for? LET'S GO!!!" Christmas Cat sprinted to the nearest treehouse and climbed up the ladder. " Hey! Toons Unite! Over here!" There was the rest of the gang, standing next to a fountain in which toons where throwing jellybeans in. Leroy, Jem Kit, Cool Apple Cat, Firecracker, and Chaotic Enigma were there. They were a good group, 2 girls,
(Cool Apple Cat and Jem Kit) and they were all cats. Well, except Leroy he is a mouse. "Hey guys! What's up?" Said Toons Unite. "Nothing. Absolutely nothing at all. Oh, except for the fact that
FUNNY FARMS IS OUT!" Leroy replied. "Anyway, let's go and check out this place." Toons Unite said. "Let's go!" And off they went. They walked at a slow pace to fully capture the details of this new sensation.
" Look, a CHICKEN!!! And EGGS!" Said the over-excited Firecracker. He was kinda a loose cannon. He ran over, grabbed an egg, and launched it at Chaotic Emigma's shirt. "Umm, sorry Chaotic! I'm just a little, you know, excited." Said Firecracker apologetically. "It's ok, Firecracker. We are all excited about this place. Let's go check out that pond over there, looks like
you can fish, swim, and even ICE SKATE on one part of the pond! Let's go!" Said Chaotic Enigma as he and the rest of the gang ran toward the pond. First, they went fishing. Here were the best things that they caught: Toons Unite caught a Holey Mackerel, Leroy caught a Scurvy Cutthroat Trout, Jem Kit caught a Full Moon Fish, Cool Apple Cat caught a Concord PB+J, Chaotic Enigma caught a Baby Grand Piano Tuna, but Firecracker didn't catch anything yet. " Man guys, I haven't caught ANYTHING yet!" Said Firecracker sadly. " Here, try an old trick I found." Said Toons Unite as he took of the old jellybean on the hook and put on two fresh red ones. " Try it now." Said Toons Unite. Firecracker threw out his line and waited. " I hope this works." Said Firecracker. Suddenly, Firecracker felt a sudden hard tug on his line. " Whoa, I think I got a bite!" Shouted Firecracker excitedly. " WHOA!" Suddenly Firecracker fell into the water with a splash, but still kept a firm grip on his twig rod. " Grab my foot!" Shouted Toons Unite as he made a diving leap and grabbed Firecracker's black sneakers. " Gotcha!" Said Leroy. " Here, Chaotic Enigma get my foot, Apple get Chaotic's, And keep a good hold of Apple's foot Jem!" Said Leroy as he dove into the pond after Toons Unite but kept a good grip of Unite's foot. Then, Chaotic got Leroy's foot and dove in, while Cool Apple got his foot, and dove in while Jem Kit stood her ground on the dock. " On three, I'll pull you up. One, two, THREE!!!" Jem Kit pulled Cool Apple Cat up, who pulled up Chaotic Enigma, who pulled up Leroy, who pulled up Toons Unite, who pulled up Firecracker, who pulled up a 50 pound Devil Ray! " WHOA!!!!!!!!" Shouted Firecracker like he just won the lottery.
After they were done flying in the sky while at the same time being drenched, they walked toward the treehouses. There was 1,000 treehouses, in bunches, with lots of detail in each one. "I see you toons are checking out the treehouses! We designed these for you toons to own for yourselves! We also designed lots of detail with these. Go check them out for yourselves!" Explained Flippy. The gang was about to check one out when they heard a familiar voice. "GUYS!!!!! These treehouses ROCK!!! Come check out this and help me pick out a name for our new place. I vote we name it Christmas Cat! After me!" Christmas Cat yelled as he climbed up the ladder. The rest of the gang followed him up the ladder. "So, here we are! Our kingdom!" The place was so detailed. Just in this front room, there was a trap door into a ball pit, a bucket that was out the window that could crank up and down, a lava-lamp with jellybeans in it, and a fuzzy green rug. Instantly Firecracker curled up on the rug and was fast asleep. In the next room, there was 7 fuzzy beds for every one of the toons and the bed was their toon color. " Come on guys! I'll give you the grand tour!"
After the "Grand Tour" the toons settled in yet another "Fuzzy Room" that had seven fuzzy armchairs, and each of them had the gang's "Toon Colors." The team sat in their own chairs, ready to discuss the name for their new residence. "I still think we should name it Christmas Cat." Said Christmas Cat. "Firecracker's Palace!" Said Firecracker excitedly. "Guys, we need a more resonable name." Replied Chaotic Enigma. "The Hideout!" "The Toon-up." "The Laff Boost!" "The Anti-Cog Palace!!" "The Treehouse." "WAIT! Who said that?!?" Said Jem Kit. "I did! It was me!" Squealed Firecracker. "What does you guys think?" Asked Jem Kit. "I like it!" "Perfect!" "AWESOME!" "Toontastic!" "Great!" "I LOVE IT!"
"There we have it. The Treehouse." Sighed Leroy. "Now let's get some sleep. I can't wait to try out the beds!"
" Wake up! Wake up! WAKE UP!" Boomed Firecracker. "Ugggghhhh. What time is it?" Groaned Toons Unite. " 4:00. But does it MATTER?!? Have I got some news for you! LOOK IN YOUR SHTICKER BOOKS!!!" Replied a very excited Firecracker. Toons Unite pulled out his shticker book. He went to the first page: Nothing. Next, the Districts. He couldn't believe his eyes. Scattered around the districts, were ideal districts! But better yet, Nutty Summit was FULL, and so was Nutty RIVER. " Nutty Summit AND Nutty River are full!" Said Cool Apple Cat. " But that's not all," Said Firecracker with a look of excitement in his eyes. " Keep looking!" In the map page of the shticker book, there was Funny Farm, but, something new was on the map, there it was, next to Funny Farm... To left of Funny Farm, there was... FUN LAND! Toons everywhere had been waiting for this day for years! Christmas Cat was so surprized that he fell out the window, but safely landed on a pile of leaves. " Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Said Chaotic Enigma. So the five cats and one mouse jumped out the same window that Christmas Cat fell out of, then they landed in the same pile of leaves. Then they took a moment to take it all in. " Last one there is a busted cog!" Blurted Christmas Cat as he dashed for the Ferris Wheel.
After a long day of Ferris Wheel rides, 24 cotton candies, (mostly eaten by Leroy) and 50 Sno-Cones, the gang was tired. They decided to have a talk about what they would do tomorrow. " So, we certainly had fun today, but what will we do tomorrow?" Asked Chaotic Enigma. " More Fun Land!" Said Leroy happily. " I think you have had your share of cotton candy." Said Toons Unite. " I think we should go and explore Funny Farm more!" Said Cool Apple Cat. Then it hit Christmas Cat. " Guys, guys, guys! Everyone has been too busy with Funny Farm and Fun Land that they have forgot about the cogs! We left them alone so long, that they could be planning anything!" Said Christmas Cat with a look of worry on his face. " So it's set." Said Jem Kit " Tomorrow we go to the streets, then the cog headquarters."
" Ok, so is everyone packed? " Asked Chaotic Enigma. " Almost, I just need to find my cream pie, I can't find it anywhere." Said Toons Unite. " Has anyone seen my seltzer bottle?" Asked Cool Apple Cat. " Guys, I can't find my big weight." Said Leroy. " Ok, something is up. Said Jem Kit. " I cant find my aoogah either." " Does anyone have any gags?" Asked Chaotic Enigma. " I do!" Said Firecracker gladly. " I have my bamboo cane, because I always sleep with it right next to me." " Good," Said Christmas Cat. " We can use it for Toon-Up and for hitting the cogs with it."
" Okay, does everyone have their walkie-talkies?" Asked Toons Unite. " Yep," Replied Leroy. " That makes everyone." " Good, now here is what we will do. We have the walkie-takies for talking about anything we hear, see, or smell. For example, if Cool Apple Cat runs into trouble, she can say it on the walkie-talkie, we can hear it, Firecracker can teleport and use his cane, and we can teleport too and help out if needed." Explained Toons Unite. " So, this is where we will each be searching around. Christmas Cat, you get Toontown Central, Leroy, you get Donald's Dock, Cool Apple Cat, you get Minnie's Melodyland, Jem Kit, get Daisy's Gardens, Chaotic Enigma, get The Brrrgh, i'll get Donald's Dreamland, and Firecracker, you just be ready for anything to happen, and be ready to teleport anytime." " If that's all, than here we go!"
Toons Unite opened his shticker book, went to the map, and teleported to Donald's Dreamland. He walked in the tunnel to Lullaby Lane, and walked halfway in the street.
" Wow, I haven't seen any cog building or even any COG yet on this street!" Said Toons Unite to himself as he walked to the end of the street. " Hey! Over here!!!" " Huh? Who said that?" Toons Unite questioned as he walked to the end of the street. " It was me. My name is Lilac." Said Lilac. " I was searching for clues around this place, since there's no cogs or buildings here, but I haven't found any. I was just about to teleport back to the playground so I could search Pajama Place, when you came along." " Well, I just searched this street and was gonna search the whole Dreamland, but nothing yet. So, how about we search Pajama Place together?" Asked Toons Unite.
" Ok," Said Lilac. " Let's go!" Lilac and Toons Unite teleported to the playground, and walked in the tunnel to Pajama Place. " So, tell me in details, why are you here exactly?" Asked Toons Unite. " I came here to investigate." Said Lilac. " I figured that with us toons having so much fun with Funny Farm and Fun Land, the cogs must be cooking up something. So, I came here to investigate, then go to all the other playgrounds." That would take way too long." Said Toons Unite. " We have a team of toons in all the playgrounds, searching for clues too." Said Toons Unite. "That's why we have these walkie-talkies, to talke to each other and communicate. If you wanna come with us..." " YES! I mean yes, sure, I will come with you." Said Lilac with a blush. " Ok then, well, looks like we are at the end of this street, but no cogs or cog buildings."
" Yep, I guess there's nothing here..." Said Lilac. " WAIT! What is that?" Asked Toons Unite. He bent over and picked up a paper. He couldn't read it without his cog message decoder. He brought it out, used it, and it said:

To: The Cashbots
From: The CFO
Message: With the toons new "fun" facilities, they have been having to much fun. But the current project at hand is on the way to being finished.
The Chairman does not enjoy the toons having fun, so has put more work into the project. We have a bigger advantage than ever with the new person that provides us with endless possibilities.

" Well, that was disturbing." Said Lilac. " Yep, we better tell the others." Said Toons Unite. RIIIINNNGGGG!!!!! RRRIIIINNNGGG!! RRRRIIIIINNNNGGG!!!!!!
" That's my walkie-talkie." Said Toons Unite. He opened his walkie-talkie. " Hello?" He said. " Hey dude, we got some bad news. Jem Kit, Leroy, and Chaotic Enigma found some memos from the HQs. You got anything? Asked Christmas Cat. " Yep, actually we found a memo too. It says:

From: The CFO
Message: With the toons new "fun" facilities, they have been having to much fun. But the current project at hand is on the way to being finished.
The Chairman does not enjoy the toons having fun, so has put more work into the project. We have a bigger advantage than ever with the new person that provides us with endless possibilities.
" Wow, lots of clues, huh? Said Christmas Cat. " Yep." Said Toons Unite. " I found someone who was looking for clues too. She is gonna help us with further research." " I guess that's ok, but teleport to Chaotic Enigma. He needs a cog message decoder. Let's meet back at The Treehouse when you finish. Good luck!" And Christmas Cat was off the phone line. " Ok, after I jump in the teleport hole to Chaotic Enigma, jump in it after me." Said Toons Unite. He jumped in the teleport hole, and Lilac followed.
" So, I here that you found a memo. I found one to. Here, you read mine while I decode yours." Toons Unite said. " Aww, my cog decoder is broken!" " Well, this memo is pretty scary." Said Chaotic Enigma. " Hey! Over here!" A light blue cat said. " Hi! What's up?" Said Toons Unite. " Hey, I heard your Cog Decoder is broken. I can fix it, and I have one you can use in the mean time. By the way, my name is Wondertooth." Said Wondertooth as he took Toons Unite's broken Cog Decoder and gave him his.
" Thanks!" Said Toons Unite as he decoded Chaotic Enigma's found cog message. It said:

To: The Lawbots
From: The CJ
Message: The toons have had an illegal amount of fun with this new called " Fun Land" and " Funny Farm". But again, we are looking to the future with the new project at hand. We will trap those toons in a matter of minutes. The Chairman thinks that this will be a breakthrough.

"Well, that was a disturbing message." Said Toons Unite. " But I think that we should meet up at The Treehouse. So, do you wanna come with us Wondertooth?" " Sure dude, as long as we keep on working on this case with the clues." Said Wondertooth. " Oh there is gonna be plenty of time for that." Said Toons Unite. " Now let's all go to The Treehouse." He said as himself, Wondertooth, Lilac, and Chaotic Enigma teleported to Funny Farm. Then they walked up to The Treehouse, climbed up the ladder, and stepped inside. Sitting inside was the rest of the gang. " So, we heard that you guys found some memos." Said Jem Kit. They took a minute to switch memos and read them. " So, all of our memos pretty much have the same message. That we are having fun, and that they are gonna do something about it. But we have no gags except Firecracker's cane!" Said Jem Kit. " Ok, if we have no gags, probably nobody else has gags either. I think that we should see Flippy about this." Leroy said. " But should we tell Flippy about the memos?" Asked Chaotic Enigma. " Probably." Said Toons Unite. " He could get someone on the job."
" Ok, so we're going to Toon Hall tomorrow. Hopefully Flippy noticed that there is no cogs, like we did." Said Firecracker.
" WHAT?!? NO COGS? THIS IS A MIRACLE!" Said Flippy happily. " Not as good as you think," Said Leroy. " Look at these." Leroy handed Flippy the Cog memos. " Well, these do look a little suspicious." Said Flippy. " But we have bigger problems. Some duck took 18 balloons at Fun Land, flew up in the sky, and hasn't been seen since." Said Flippy. " Aren't you worried a bit about this?" Asked Toons Unite. " The cogs are not here, and are planning something." " What's to worry about?" Asked Flippy. " The cogs basically on vacation. If you are that worried though, you guys can go and investigate, even though I see no reason to do so." Said Flippy. " Can't you help us in some way? Don't forget that we have NO gags, and neither does anyone else." Mentioned Chaotic Enigma. " Well, I guess you can have some gags from the Bank, just put them to good use." Sighed Flippy. " Well, than we'll be off." Said Toons Unite. " Now, let's go get those gags." Said Toons Unite.
After the gang got their share of gags, they sat down to talk in The Treehouse. " So, I thought of something." Said Christmas Cat. " We need a team name. You know, like Team Toontown, The Toon Squad, names like that." They sat there for hours but still had no name. " Well, maybe we can work on it... tomorrow. I have a... um... something to work on." Said Jem Kit as she walked down the hall to her bed.
" Hey, did someone get the tools to fix the elevator?" Asked Cool Apple Cat. " Me and Toons Unite will go get them." Said Christmas Cat. As he climbed down the ladder to leave The Treehouse with Toons Unite behind him. " WAIT!" Yelled Jem Kit. " I, um, want to come with you...?" Said Jem Kit suspiciously. " Well ok, but I have to warn you, LAST ONE THERE IS A ROTTEN EGG!" Said Christmas Cat as he ran off toward Gremlin's Gadgets, the hardware store.
" Are you sure this is it?" Asked Toons Unite." Oh I'm sure." Said Jem Kit. " Let's just say I um, know the owner." Said Jem Kit as she walked in the door. " Hello there!" Said Gremlin, the store owner. " I was thought you would be here." " Um, yeah, we just need a few screws and a screwdriver." Said Toons Unite as he handed Gremlin five jellybeans. " Here you go." Said Gremlin. " Have a, interesting day." Said Gremlin suspiciously. " Thanks." Said Toons Unite as he and Christmas Cat walked to The Treehouse.
" Why can't we get it to work?!?" Said Firecracker. " Who has the Elevator Instruction Book?" " I think Jem Kit had it." Said Christmas Cat. " Speaking of, where IS Jem Kit? I haven't seen her since we were at Gremlin's Gadgets." " Well," Said Toons Unite. " She WAS acting suspicious. And, Gremlin was too a little bit. Anyway, we gotta fix this thing. I'll go get Jem Kit." Toons Unite teleported to Jem Kit. She was at Gremlin's Gadgets. " WHOA!" Yelled Jem Kit. " I wasn't excepting you.... What do you want?" " Um, I just wondered if you had the Elevator Instruction Book." Said Toons Unite as he gave Jem Kit a suspicious glare. " I don't have it! Now get out, please, I have some, business to do." Said Jem Kit. " Well ok." Toons Unite Said as he teleported to Christmas Cat. " So, did you get the book?" Asked Christmas Cat. " No." Said Toons Unite. " Jem Kit said that she had business to do, and told me to get out! And, she was still at Gremlin's Gadgets!" " We better check it out." Said Christmas Cat. " But first we gotta fix the elevator. Any ideas?" " If only O-Man was here." Said Leroy sadly. " He always had a solution for everything, the fun way." O-Man was a brown dog that Leroy and Toons Unite hung out with ALL the time. For factories, mints, front threes, cog buildings, and all kinds of fun stuff. He was brave, and did things risky but always saved the day. He was like a bigger brother to them, who protected them. O-Man stopped all of the hacker clans, Beat the CEO 874 times, and caught all the fish over 7 times. One day, O-Man heard that in the uncharted ground near Chip and Dale's Acorn Acres, the cogs were conducting the legend " Cog Nation", so he went out to take it over, by himself, because no one else would come with him, and O-Man knew that it wasn't safe for Toons Unite and Leroy to come. So he gave Toons Unite and Leroy his favorite clothing item, his sombrero, went out, and never came back. But that was eight years ago. And since then, Toons Unite kept his sombrero in a safe, and kept it in Leroy's House. After they moved into The Treehouse, they kept it under Toons Unite's bed. After they fixed the elevator, it was late, so everyone went to sleep, with Jem Kit still missing. But Leroy was still wide awake in his bed at 2:00 am. Leroy looked across the room, and saw that Toons Unite, too, was wide awake. Leroy could tell that Toons Unite was thinking about the same thing, O-Man, and how they hadn't seen him in eight years, but still missed him. Then, it happened. Leroy and Toons Unite shared a moment. They looked at each other and thought the same thing. They both got up from their beds, Toons Unite pulled a gold safe out from under his bed, while Leroy walked over and kneeled on the ground next to Toons Unite. Leroy entered the code, and opened the door. There it was, a single sombrero. Toons Unite pulled it out, and placed it in front of him. Leroy and Toons Unite sat there for a moment, then looked at each other. They both knew what they had to do. They put on their shoes, walked to the front room of The Treehouse, and climbed down the rope ladder.
" Are you sure that this is it?" Asked Leroy. " What, not creepy enough for you?" Asked Toons Unite as he opened the door. But when he opened the door, the room wasn't quite the same as last time. The room was the same, except Gremlin wasn't there, and it was all dark. Leroy flipped on the lightswitch. Suddenly Leroy and Toons Unite got hit by a clip-on tie. " Whoa, what was that?" Said Toons Unite. The air suddenly turned hot, a gallon of fountain pen ink came down on them, then they got hit by bounce checks. " What is this?!?" Yelled Leroy. Suddenly they got pushed forward and tumbled to the ground with power trip. " Hey! Stop that! This is Tooontown, not Cog Nation!" Yelled Toons Unite. " SILENCE! YOU MUST OBEY US!" Boomed a mysterious voice. " You can't make us!" Replied Leroy. " Who are you, GREMLIN?"
" SILENCE!!! AND YES, I CAN MAKE YOU!!! BWAH HA HA AH!!!!!" Said the voice. Then, Leroy got hit by red tape up to the mouth. " Mmmhh!!" Said Leroy.
" NOW FOR YOU. MWAHAHAHA!!!!" Said the voice. "GET HIM!!!!!!!!" Yelled the voice. Suddenly, 20 more clip-on ties flew at Toons Unite. He dodged them. Then, the roof expanded 100 more feet, and skelecogs came down. " WE GOT YOU NOW!!!!!" Said the voice in an evil tone. Then the skelecogs surrounded Toons Unite. " Not if I can help it." Said Toons Unite. He didn't bring the gags Flippy gave him, but he remembered that he didn't look in his Gag Attack Pack when he looked for his OWN gags before. And sure enough, there was HIS OWN gags, not Flippy's. Then from behind him, a skelecog stole his pack. Toons Unite thought. Then he grabbed his fedora, twirled it at the skelecog that took his pack, kicked the cog in the chest, and snatched the pack. Then he pulled out his bamboo cane and knocked 10 skelecogs backward into the wall. But when Toons Unite turned around to hit more cogs, a skelecog stole his bamboo cane, and threw it against the wall. The cog went to tackle Toons Unite, but he pulled out his big magnet, twirled it toward the wall, and the skelecogs were in a scrapheap. Toons Unite walked over to Leroy, sprinkled Pixie Dust on him, and the red tape vanished. " Nice job!" Said Leroy. " Now, let's get outta here as quick as we can." Toons Unite tried to open the door. " Locked!" He said. Suddenly someone walked out of the corner of the room. " Hello, boys. How are you?" Said Gremlin with a grin on his face. " What are you here for?" " We're here for Jem Kit! Where is she? Is she ok?!? " Asked Leroy. " Oh I'm ok. In fact, I'm GREAT." Said Jem Kit as she came out of the corner. " Ok, tell us what's up!" Said Toons Unite furiously. "Here's what's up:" Said Gremlin. " You toons may have survived the first set of challenges, but it's not your time to shine. You toons think you're so clever, with your jellybeans and your so called "Doodles". So listen up: It's the COGS TIME to rule. Give up. We got the building surrounded. Now surrender to us, or DIE." " I don't think so." Said Toons Unite. " We'll never surrender to the likes of you, no matter WHAT. So bring on your army of gears and rust. Me and Leroy demolished your first group of gears." Said Toons Unite. " And we're JUST getting started." " And we may be crazy." Said Leroy. " But crazy comes in handy." " Your choice." Said Gremlin. " Bring on the cogs." About 200 cogs stepped out of the corner. Toons Unite flipped on his fedora and gripped his Bamboo Cane tighter. Leroy readied his Toontanic. " Bring it, kitty!"
" Ugh, Unite, what time is it?" Said Christmas Cat as he stretched out. No answer. " Unite? Leroy, where's Unite?" Silence. " LEROY?" Christmas Cat glanced over to Toons Unite and Leroy's beds. They were empty, and the covers were overturned. And Jem Kit was still missing. " Christmas, the toaster blew up again!" Shouted Firecracker from down stairs. " Forget the TOASTER! Get up here!" Christmas Cat heard the boing of feet against the trampoline stairs. Firecracker did a frontflip into the room, boinged on the bed, and landed a backflip in front of Christmas Cat. " What's so important?" Firecracker asked. " Toons Unite and Leroy are missing! And even more suspicious, Jem Kit is still missing. She was acting weird before we lost her." Said Christmas Cat. " Looks like a gloomy one outside." Said Firecracker carelessly. Outside there was fog plastered all over the sky. Then Cool Apple Cat and Chaotic Enigma walked in. " Hey guys, what's happening? " Said Chaotic Enigma. " Jem Kit is not back yet, and even worse, Toons Unite AND Leroy are gone!" Said Christmas Cat in a frustrated tone. " What are we gonna do?" " We better go investigate." Said Lilac as she walked in the hall entrance to the bedroom, with Wondertooth beside her. " Great Idea, let's go! "
The air was cold, the winds were swirling, the ground was hard, and there was no toons in sight. " Whoa, what happened to this place?" Said Firecracker. Fences were broken down, the geysers were empty, and the farm animals were gone. But that was just Funny Farm. The gang glanced over at Fun Land. The cotton candy stand was empty, the rides were shut down, and it was cloudy, foggy, and gray. " What happened HERE?!? " Said Chaotic Engima angrily. There was a note taped to the cotton candy stand. It said:
Dear you Toony Troublemakers, I see you've seen my work.
Your favored friends are having quite a time with me! Take notes if you ever want to be as mighty as me. Jem Kit is learning after me, too.
I'm still trying to convince your other friends. They're quite persistent, aren't they? I'll get them to crack, don't worry. We're developing powerful things.
Watch out, we have many things coming. You toons may have thought that we just wanted to stop your fun, but it's so much more. We've been
distracting you with little things, while we've been " Under Construction" ourselves! Your nation of toons and happiness will be overturned!

Suddenly, a weary-looking dog with 8 cell-phone looking gadgets rushed up to the gang. " FINALLY! It's you guys! Flippy sent me to give you these! Bye!" And he was gone as quick as he came. The gang examined their new tools. It was like a cellphone, had everything a Shticker Book had, and had a mysterious folder on it.
It said: " Type in the password for the ability to go on to the fingerprint scan." Then everyone's phone rang. They answered it. " Hello! I see you've got my gadget! " Said Flippy. " Come meet me at my office! Bye! " The line went dead. " Well then," Said Christmas Cat. " We've got a meeting to attend."
The building expanded from all sides, getting huge, and even rooms were getting separated. But who cares? The cogs were closing in. " Are you ready?" Asked Toons Unite. " Ready as ever." Said Leroy. " Three, two, one. CHARGE!!!!!" The two friends charged at the cogs. Toons Unite put pie tins in his fedora, so it could be like a destructive frisbee. He flew it at a Mingler's flying gadget, and it broke off. Toons Unite snatched it up, and ran. Suddenly, he was surrounded by level 21 Name Droppers. Toons Unite pulled a seltzer bottle out of his bag, and braced himself. A Name Dropper threw red tape at him. Toons Unite blocked it with a seltzer bottle. He grabbed the tape off the seltzer bottle, and taped the flying gadget to his Toontanic's engine. It looked like a fan as it spun! Toons Unite then took out the windows to the Toontanic, ran up and kicked an arm off a cog, and ran. The Name Droppers all used Hot Air. Perfect! When they used Hot Air, Toons Unite hit the Hot Air with the cog's arm, and it was like a welding stick. Then he ran over, sliced the engine off the Toontanic, and ran at the cogs. The engine was spinning fast, so when the cogs, they ALL blew up! " Nice!" Yelled Leroy. " 20 down, 180 to go." A level 45 Robber Baron ran up to them, grabbed their newly-made weapon, and jammed a gear in it. The Robber Baron then threw it. Toons Unite and Leroy watched as it skidded across the floor. It looked fixable, as long as they got the gear out. The Robber Baron charged at Toons Unite and Leroy. They made a ran for it. The Robber Baron trapped them in a corner. It was closing in on them. " If we don't make it," Said Leroy. " Thanks for everything bro." " Don't worry, I got a plan." Said Toons Unite. He whispered the plan to Leroy. " Got it." Said Leroy. " Ready?" " Ready." Said Toons Unite. Just as planned, the Robber Baron dashed at them. Toons Unite quickly boosted Leroy on his shoulders, and flipped him over behind the Robber Baron. " Hey over here!" Shouted Leroy. " Can't get me!" The Robber Baron charged at Leroy. Leroy quickly went on his back as Toons Unite grabbed his feet and slipped him under the Robber Baron's legs. The Robber Baron was confused, but mosty angry. He charged, faster this time, at Toons Unite and Leroy. " GO!" Shouted Toons Unite. Leroy flipped Toons Unite on his shoulders and threw him up in the air. Toons Unite did a backflip and landed on the Robber Baron's shoulders. But the Robber Baron didn't care. He ran at Leroy! Leroy panicked. " HELP!" Yelled Leroy desperately. " TRAP!" Yelled Toons Unite. Leroy quickly threw out marbles on the floor, as Toons Unite gave the cog a good pie in the face. It worked, but Toons Unite was falling down with him! " This was NOT thought through well!!!" Shouted Toons Unite. " I got ya!" Yelled Leroy. The cog crumbled to the ground, leaving Toons Unite falling quite high since the Robber Baron was a level 45! " I GOT YA!!!!" Yelled Leroy. Leroy slid on the floor, catching Toons Unite. " Phew, THAT was close." Said Leroy. " Thanks BRO!" Replied Toons Unite happily. " Any time!" Said Leroy. Toons Unite and Leroy battled the rest of the cogs, using different techniques for each group, until there was 50 cogs left: Level 75 Robber Barons, Big Cheeses, Big Wigs, and Mr. Hollywoods.
They were versions 17-67! " This is gonna take a while," Said Leroy. " Not if we have a strategy." Said Toons Unite. " I got an idea. We can set up Grand Pianos! And since they are versions 17-67, if we can hit them a certain amount of time, they'll explode." Leroy dropped one grand piano on a Big Wig version 54. It didn't do ANYTHING at all! But when Leroy hit the button for the Grand Piano, it made a certain noise. " Hey," Said Toons Unite. " It made a certain noise!"
" I know," Said Leroy. " I got an idea," Leroy told Toons Unite the idea. " Got it." Said Toons Unite. They both set out buttons for LOTS of Grand Pianos. They started pushing the buttons in a certain order. When they did, it played a song. It was a song that both Toons Unite and Leroy made up one day, when they were bored. The cogs actually went a version down! " It WORKED!" Toons Unite shouted with excitement. " Let's play it, Bro!" They kept playing their song, and even sang along. It went:
Toontown, Toontown, a world of fun and joy.
Get ready for a jellybean fest, jellybeans, jellybeans, I want more and MORE!
But it's not ALL fun and games, there is a bit of fright.
It's from the COGS, we'll gag them up with all our might!
The cogs want to make Toontown a world with nothing bright.
So yes, we'll defend ourselves and give QUITE a fight!

" Classic." Said Leroy. The cogs were all exploded. " Finally, all the cogs are gone!" Said Toons Unite. " Now all we need is to get outta here, and get help from the rest of the gang." They both rushed over to the door and tried it. "STILL locked!" Said Toons Unite. " Hey, what's that?" Asked Leroy. Over in the corner, in a scrapheap of cog parts and gears, there was a map and a Key Card. They picked them up. The map had the whole building,
(much bigger since expanded) and they were only in the front of the building. There was a control room, a few rooms in. Leroy saw it first. " A control room!" Said Leroy.
" Maybe that could help us!" Toons Unite pocketed the Key Card as they rushed down the hall. Suddenly, there was a door. Leroy tried to open it.
" INVALID OPENING. SCAN THE CORRECT KEY CARD TO ENTER." The door said. " Let's just hope this is the right Key Card." Said Toons Unite. He tried it.
" KEY SCAN...... SUCESSFUL. OPENING DOOR...." Said the door as it opened. " Let's go!" Said Leroy. They rushed through the door, until they got to the control room. This door looked like it had a Key Card Scan, too. Toons Unite tried it. " TRYING KEY CARD............" The door said.
" It's taking longer than the last one." Said Leroy. " It's ok," Said Toons Unite. " Maybe it's because it is to open something better." " KEY INVALID. GOODBYE." It said.
" Huh?" Said Leroy. Suddenly two GIANT skelecogs came and grabbed them. " No!!!!!!!" Shouted Leroy. " I got an idea." Said Toons Unite. He stretched his head back to his Gag Attack Pack, and pulled out a banana peel. He threw it with his mouth on the floor in front of the skelecog that had him. Just before the cog slipped, Toons Unite grabbed a from his bag with his mouth, pointed it at his skelecog, and blew. The skelecog put his hands to his ears, making Toons Unite free. He jumped off just in time to see the skelecog slip. Toons Unite then finished him off with a birthday cake. Then, with his Bamboo Cane, he pulled the leg of the skelecog that had Leroy and it fell.
" HELP!" Yelled Leroy. Toons Unite quickly took off his Gag Pack, and placed it on the ground where Leroy would land. " Thanks, Bro!" Said Leroy. " No problem." Said Toons Unite. " Let's just get outta..." He was cut off because 500 skelecogs surrounded them. " Don't worry," Said Leroy. " I got an idea. Got any cannons? Like, the fold up ones?" Asked Leroy. " Yep." Said Toons Unite. He tossed them to Leroy. " Got any throw gags?" Said Leroy. " Sure." Said Toons Unite as he gave Leroy half of them.
Leroy them placed his cannons and Toons Unite's cannons out to make a circle around them. He then filled placed half Toons Unite's throw gags and half his throw gags on the ground. " Let's do this." Said Leroy as he stuffed cannons with pies. Toons Unite caught on right away. " FIRE!!!" Shouted Toons Unite. They spend the next half hour splatting cogs until they were all exploded. Toons Unite ran up to one scrapheap and grabbed a Key Card he found. Both Toons Unite and Leroy rushed to the control room door. They tried the Key Card. " TRYING KEY CARD.... SUCESSFUL!" The door said as it opened. Inside were LOTS of computer screens. They had every room on them, except one screen was dark. Toons Unite and Leroy walked over to a control panel. " Let's see..." Said Toons Unite. " The buttons are: Summon Cogs, trap door, ah ha! There it is! Door Opener!" Toons Unite said as he hit the button. " DOOR UNLOCK: PRESS 1 FOR DOOR 1 OPENED." The button said. Leroy hit it. " Let's go!" Said Leroy as he and Toons Unite dashed to the hall, in the front entrance, and out the door.
" Boy, I'm hungry." Said Firecracker. " Me too." Said Christmas Cat. " Let's stop by The Treehouse for a snack." Said Chaotic Enigma. They went back to The Treehouse. When they walked in, they couldn't believe what they saw. Toons Unite and Leroy, standing tall. " UNITE!?!?! LEROY!!?!?" Said Christmas Cat in shock.
" Hey." Said Leroy. " Where WERE YOU?" Asked Christmas Cat. " Let's tell them." Said Toons Unite as he leaded the gang into the Chair Room.
After they were done telling each other what had happened, they set out for Toontown Central. " Oh, and take these." Chaotic Enigma said as he handed Toons Unite and Leroy their Toonphones, as they called them.
" Finally, we're here!" Said Cool Apple Cat. The gang walked in the door to Toon Hall. " Hey, I just thought of something." Said Christmas Cat. " What?" Asked Firecracker. " We need a group name!" Said Christmas Cat. " Well we can't think of one now." Said Cool Apple Cat. " We have a meeting to attend." They all walked up to Flippy. " Hey Flippy, what's up?" Said Leroy. " I'll tell you in a minute." Replied Flippy. " Just follow me." Flippy pulled a book out of his bookshelf. The bookshelf turned.
" Let's go." Said Flippy. The others followed. " Whoa!" Said Christmas Cat. " What is this place?" The gang and Flippy sat down at a table. " I usually don't show regular toons this.... well, your group isn't exactly... Regular."
" We all know that the cogs want to take over and stuff, but now they're serious. And if some people are gonna save Toontown, it's gonna have to be you."
" Ok..." Said Firecracker. " But... why?" " Let's start with you." Said Flippy. " Firecracker. You have the bravery, courage, and just plain loopiness. But it will all come in handy... Soon enough. Take these. They're like a TNT, except better." Flippy said as he gave Firecracker a box of blue TNTs. " Cool Apple Cat. I knew you since you were in Donald's Dock. You have quite the skill with a sword. Here, take this." Said Flippy as he handed Cool Apple Cat a sword and a mask. " Chaotic Enigma! You, have the leadership and helpful-ness that we need. Take this." Flippy handed Chaotic Enigma a Cog Detector. It could detect any cogs, detect something cogs did, or even identify any new cogs or cog materials.
" And last but certainly NOT least, Christmas Cat, Leroy, and Toons Unite. You three don't need gifts. You all are super experienced with each other, and work together VERY well. Here you are: Christmas Cat first. You have the sneakiness, skill, and happiness. You know how to throw a Cream Pie to how to blow a bugle. As I watched you train and grow up, I knew you would become great. Now for you, Leroy. I remember the day. I was walking in Toontown Central and I saw you and Toons Unite instantly become friends. From there on I knew something big was about to start. Your friendship is strong. You have the loyal-ness, the plain CRAZINESS out of no where, and you work especially well with Toons Unite. And next…Toons Unite, is it? I’ve heard rumors about you… Greatness. Wanting to beat the cog for the fun of it-ness. Everything we need for a team. Toontown is falling, and needs someone to save it. Go and save it. I believe in you guys. Now go, save Toontown.
" Ready to go, guys?" Asked Chaotic Enigma. " Yep," Said Leroy as he climbed down the rope ladder. " Let's go!" The gang had being gathering all their things, and had been getting ready to go to Gremlin's Gadgets. Earlier that morning, Firecracker woke up and he found a mysterious gray box. On the front, there was a note taped to it that said: " I thought this might come in handy, just in case. - Flippy." As the gang walked out the door, Firecracker thought of ways he might use it. So he brought it along. It was dark and gloomy outside, and there was no toons. The barn was closed. Fun Land was empty. Even the pond had no motion in it. " Wow. This place looks like someone dropped a bucket of cog paint on it." Said Cool Apple Cat. Just then, Chaotic Enigma spotted a paper nailed to the chicken's fence. " What's that?" Asked Chaotic Enigma. The rest of the gang walked over to the fence as Chaotic Enigma read the paper. " It says: MISSING: Sunshine Loopytoon, Max Bumblebeetle, and Romeo Thunderboom. It says that they have disappeared." " I bet Gremlin's Gadgets had to do with this." Said Cool Apple Cat. " Well, we're heading there now, and we're almost there." Said Leroy. " Yep," Said Toons Unite. "Everyone prepared?" Suddenly, Firecracker tripped on a shovel. " Whoa!" Shouted Firecracker. Next to the shovel, there was a place that looked like someone had dug a hole. " Are you ok?" Asked Christmas Cat. " Yeah, I'm fine." Said Firecracker. " Looks like someone buried something here." " Let's see what it is!" Said Leroy. Christmas Cat dug and Chaotic Enigma scanned the place with his Cog Detector. " There's something that has to do with cogs down there!" Said Chaotic Enigma. " It says that the thing down there is a... map of some kind." He said. " Done!" Said Christmas Cat. He pulled out what was in the hole. There was two papers. One of them looked like a building plan. It said:
COG NATION BUILDING PLAN. It took up the space where Funny Farms, Fun Land, and Chip and Dale's Acorn Acres were. The second page was a map too. It took up the space where Chip and Dale's is, where Funny Farms and Fun Land are, and where Donald's Dock and Daisy's Gardens are.The Toontown Central space was ripped out of the page, though. On the top of the page, there was scribbled-out letters. " This looks like some kind of building plan for Cog Nation, and some other cog area!" Said Toons Unite. " That's why we're going to the root of the problem." Said Leroy. " Gremlin's Gadgets." They put the building plans in Toons Unite's Gag Attack Pack and kept walking. " We're here." Said Leroy. " It looks different." Said Toons Unite. " Darker and more complex." The gang stepped inside. Right as the last of the gang had walked in, SLAM! The door shut behind them. " That's never good." Said Leroy as he checked the door handle. " Locked." He said. The room was smaller than last time Leroy and Toons Unite had been there, and different in more ways than that. There was four lightbulbs on the ceiling, and there was two doors in the room: The door they just came from, and another door in the front of the room. This door was more detailed than the door the gang came into, though. It had two different types of unlocking it: A fingerprint unlock, and a key card unlock, similar to the one that Leroy and Toons Unite had seen before. " Looks like we need to unlock this door before we do anything else." Said Toons Unite. " And since there is no Key Cards to be found in here, it looks like we're gonna have to do the fingerprint lock. And I think that our best bet is that the fingerprint is Gremlin's. " But how will we get a fingerprint?" The gang pondered the thought for a moment, when Firecracker ripped open his gray box. " I've been waiting to do that." Said Firecracker as he examined what was in the box. He found a liquid in a bottle that had a squirting attachment on the top. The label on the bottle read: " Fingerprint Spray." " I bet this would do the trick!" Said Firecracker. " Now, we just need to find a place his fingerprint would be." " On the back door handle!" Said Leroy. FIrecracker walked over to the back door and sprayed the handle. " Nothing." He said. " I bet that there is more than that to it." Said Toons Unite. " I have an idea." Toons Unite walked over to Firecracker. " Can I see two sticks of your blue TNT?" Asked Toons Unite. " Sure." Firecracker said as he handed Toons Unite them. Luckily, the gang remembered to give Toons Unite their items so he could put them in his Gag Attack Pack. Toons Unite pulled his portable cannon out of his pack. " How do you light this kind of TNT?" Asked Toons Unite. " You snap your fingers." Said Firecracker. Toons Unite then walked over to Cool Apple Cat and whispered something in her ear. " Sure!" Said Cool Apple Cat. Toons Unite reached into his pack and pulled out Cool Apple Cat's sword and mask. She put the mask on and gripped her sword. " Ready?" Asked Toons Unite. " Ready!" Replied Cool Apple Cat. Toons Unite threw his portable cannon on the ground, and it expanded into normal size. Cool Apple Cat jumped in. Toons Unite then inserted one TNT into the cannon, and cut one in half . " 3... 2... 1! " Said Toons Unite as he snapped his fingers. Cool Apple Cat then flew up into the air, and flew right under the four lightbulbs. That was when she swiped her sword, shattering the lightbulbs above. Just in time, Chaotic Enigma caught her before she fell. It was now dark in the room. " Don't worry, I got it." Said Toons Unite. He snapped, causing one half of the TNT to light up. Since he cut it, it would work like a candle, not a TNT. He then shined the light where Firecracker sprayed the door handle. There, in the dim, blue light, was a finger print. Toons Unite then walked up to the fingerprint, tore off some of the wax paper from the other half of the TNT, and stamped the fingerprint on it. " I sure hope this works." Said Toons Unite as he pressed the waxpaper to the fingerprint lock. " BEEP...... FINGERPRINT SCAN...... SUCESSFUL." The door slowly creaked open. " Let's go!" Said Toons Unite as he and the rest of the gang walked in the door.
" Found anything?" Asked Toons Unite. " Nothing yet." Reported Leroy. After the door with the fingerprint lock, there was a long hallway. When the hallway ended, there was an open office room, filled with cubicles, causing the gang's view of the room to be limited. So Chaotic Enigma thought of an idea: That everyone split up and look for things that could come in handy. If someone ran into trouble during the process, they could shout so the rest of the gang could hear them. So the gang split up, each one going a different direction.`Toons Unite turned a corner to see yet another normal cubicle, or so he thought. So he turned to walk to the next cubicle, hoping for beter luck, when suddenly he heard a slight " beep " come from the cubicle. Clearly intrigued by the matter, Toons Unite spun on his heel and dashed over to the cubicle. He scanned it over, and looked to the side of the cubicle. He had a plan. If the cubicle beeped, it would probably flash a light. Toons Unite heard the " beep " and saw a little flash out of his peripheral vision. Quickly he jerked his head over to see where the flash came from. " It could be a camera of somekind!" Toons Unite said to himself. He quickly grabbed a whole fruit pie out from his Gag Attack Pack, pulled back his arm, and launched the pie at the place where the flash was. " BEEP!!! SYSTEM SHUTTING DOWN...." And the beeping and the flashing stopped. The gang had apparently heard the commotion, because they had already arrived at the scene. " What happened?" Asked Firecracker. " There was some flashing light that made a noise every so often." Explained Toons Unite. " I figured it was a camera of some kind, so I threw a pie at it." " Good. We can never be too careful." Said Chaotic Enigma as he and the rest of the gang walked through the maze of cubicles. " This looks like the end of the maze." Said Leroy as he led the gang to the next hallway. But before Leroy could step into the hallway, a clip-on tie flew and hit Leroy in the face. He toppled over on the ground, and a metal door came over the opening to the hallway. " Are you ok?" Asked Cool Apple Cat. " I'm fine." Said Leroy. Suddenly, Toons Unite heard a rumbling noise behind him, and saw two cubicles closing together, making the gang trapped from all sides. " Here we go again." Sighed Toons Unite.
